Day two of State Softball took place Saturday in Sioux Falls. In the 16U Tournament, Gregory was eliminated by the BV Swat as they fell, 7-6. The Burke 14U team beat the Dells Whiplash, 14-1 and then won 8-7 over the Greyhounds. Gregory beat the Burke 14U team yesterday, 8-3. Dakota Valley beat Gregory, 12-0. The Platte 12U girls beat Tea 23-6 before they fell to Dakota Valley, 5-3. The Burke 12U girls fell to Dakota Valley, 12-0. In the 18U Tournament, Clearfield beat Dairy Queen. 8-7 and they then beat the BV Zoom, 10-9. The SD Rush beat the Winner 18U team, 17-3.
