The Winner Area Wrestling team has five individuals who will compete for state championships Saturday. Kaden Keiser, Trevor Peters, Sam Kruger, Riley Orel and Achilles Willuweit will take part in finals action later today. Burke/Gregory’s Jackson Eklund and Owen Hansen will try to bring home state championships for the Storm. Spencer Hansen of Kimball/White Lake-Platte/Geddes will square off against Sam Kruger in the finals. In Class A, Nash Hutmacher will look to bring home another heavyweight state championship as he will face Gus Miller of Brookings.

Canton defeated Winner Area, 49-23 for the Class ‘B’ Dual State Championship on Friday night. Kimball/White Lake-Platte/Geddes beat Redfield Area, 45-16 for 3rd place.
