Vikings select Jefferson and Gladney in the first round

The Minnesota Vikings had a very active first night of the NFL Draft. With the 22nd overall pick (from Buffalo via the Diggs Trade) the Vikings selected LSU Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson had 111 catches and 18 touchdowns this past season for the National Champion Tigers. Minnesota then made a trade with San Francisco. The Vikings traded away the 25th pick to the 49ers for the 31st pick, along with the 117th overall pick in the fourth round and pick number 176 in the fifth round. With pick number 31, the Vikings selected TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney. The second and third rounds of the draft will be held tonight.
