At the Lake Platte Golf Course, the team of Sherm Cutler and Al Sime were victorious in the Seniors Tournament as they finished with a 12 under, 58. In Amateur Baseball, Mt. Vernon won a high scoring game in Platte as the Mustangs beat the Killer Tomatoes, 17-8. Grant Lang drove in three runs for Platte. In Gregory, the South Central Storm beat Chamberlain, 12-2. In White Lake, Zak Wallner struck out 20 to lead Kimball/White Lake to a 6-3 win over Plankinton.
