Winner Regional Health and Wellness Foundation (Foundation) is pleased to announce being awarded a $20,000.00 grant from the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF). This past spring, the Foundation submitted a grant on behalf of the Driven to Serve Campaign, geared at raising $300,000.00 for the new 3D mammography. These funds helped secure the purchase of the new 3D mammography that allows Winner Regional Health the ability to provide advanced breast screenings at the local level.

On September 20th , Marilyn Grossenburg, Board Member for the South Community Foundation attended the Donor Appreciation Event. This event afforded the Foundation the opportunity to extend their appreciation to the various donors, the SDCF, and to Marilyn for her support in helping bring the 3D mammography to Winner Regional Health. As noted previously, this was truly a community effort from foundations, businesses, and individual donors that made this a reality.

As we close out the 2022 Driven to Serve Campaign, we once again want to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who purchased a ticket for the Jeep Renegade, to those who attended the Chili Night/Burger Challenge event, awarded the Foundation grants, and to the numerous donors.

As we move forward in 2023, we are anticipating having two fundraisers, the Driven to Serve Campaign and the Holiday Festival. Each year these events will focus on the healthcare needs from input received from the surrounding communities. Your voice serves as a valuable stakeholder in how we can best deliver advanced and compassionate healthcare at Winner Regional Health.
