The Class A Boys State Golf Tournament wrapped up Tuesday in Aberdeen. Tea Area’s Keeton Newborg was the individual medalist as he carded a 145. West Central’s Trey Even and Dakota Munger of Chamberalin tied for runner up with a 148. Vermillion won the team title with a 614 score. Winner Area’s Karson Keiser shot a 167, Landon Calhoon for Winner Area carded a 170, Sandler Wiekamp of Chamberlain shot a 173, Chase McQuirk of Chamberlain finished with a 179 while his teammate London Houska shot a 180. Ryder Halligan of Winner Area shot a 183 as did his teammate Maxton Brozik. Maxwell Kelsey of Chamberalin shot a 191 while Carter Craven of Winner Area shot a 212. Roncalli was second with a 638. At the Class AA Boys State Golf Tournament in Mitchell on Tuesday, Riley Christensen of Harrisburg was the medalist as he shot a 140. Watertown’s Jake Olson was runner up with a 145. Harrisburg won the team title with a 587 while Pierre was runner up with a 595.
