The Early Bird Golf Tournament was held on Saturday at the Winner Country Club. The team of Justin Zeigler and Casey Berndt won the championship flight as the guys shot a 62.

Nebraska State Track and Field wrapped up Saturday in Omaha. Locally, Ainsworth’s Katherine Kerrigan was seventh in the girls 2 mile. Ainsworth’s Owen Blumenstock was 11th in the boys long jump. The Ainsworth girls 4 x 8 relay team was eighth. For North Central, Mason Hagan was tenth in the boys 800. Valentine’s Isaac Cronin was tenth in the boys high jump.

SoDak 16 Softball pairings were released Saturday night. Locally, Winner Area is the six seed. They will host eleven seeded Lennox on Tuesday, May 23rd in Winner. Time to be determined.

Indoor Football Saturday night, the Tucson Sugar Skulls defeated the Sioux Falls Storm, 56-42.
