With Labor Day weekend on the horizon in Tripp County there is plenty that will be taking place in Winner. On Saturday, A pop-up in the park event will happen, the carnival on Main Street arrives, the Prairie Cruisers car and tractow show will happen at the Tripp County Historical Society building, Ranch Bronc Ride bull riding will happen at the 4-H Grounds and the Bar Nothin Band will play at the Black Lab from 8:30 to 1. Sunday, the demolition derby will be happening east of the fairgrounds on South County Road, the Bar Nothin Band will be back at the Black Lab to play once again. Monday, the Winner Regional Road Race will take place in the morning. A free barbecue will be served in front of the Legion Club at 11am, the ranch rodeo starts at 1 at the fairgrounds, Ty Dean will provide the tunes at the Black Lab from 4-9. The Labor Day Parade will start at 10am and the theme is “American Heroes”.
