Trinity River Ranch to hold Fall Festival this weekend

Trinity River Ranch near Mission will hold their Fall Festival on Saturday, October 5th . During the day from 2-5pm, there will be kids crafts, along with games, bouncy house with a slide, hay rides, concession stand, Photo Booth and more to check out! From 5-7pm, there will be a campfire with s’mores. You can follow Google Maps to Trinity River Ranch to find the exact address and location.

Cross Country
At the Todd County Invite on Tuesday, Xavier Sanchez-Gonzalez of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte won the boys race in a time of 18:00:12. White River’s Elijah Haukaas placed third, Todd County’s Michael Prue was fourth and Weston Foster of Winner Area placed tenth. Tahca Zephier of Little Wound won the girls race in a time of 22:03:27. Alexsis Red Bird of Todd County was runner up. Avery Manke was Winner Area’s top runner as she placed sixth, and Kylie Sachtjen of Winner Area was seventh. Todd County won the girls team title, and Cheyenne Eagle Butte won the boys team title.

The Browns to perform Sunday at Prairie View Gospel Barn

The Browns will perform this Sunday, October 6th at Prairie View Gospel Barn in Gregory! The show will start at 6:30pm. You can purchase tickets in advance at Bankwest in Gregory, or by calling Geoff Smith at 830-1545. Advance tickets are $25, and they will be $30 the day of the show. Doors will open at 5pm, and a pulled pork sandwich meal will be served.

Region 3A Boys Golf in Mitchell

Karson Keiser of Winner Area was the medalist as he shot a 76. Chase McQuirk of Chamberlain was runner up with a 77. Cannon Speer of Chamberlain placed third with a 79. Brody Calhoon of Winner Area was fourth with an 81. Carter Craven of Winner Area finished 7th with an 84. Landon Calhoon of Winner Area also shot an 84 for 9th place. Winner Area won the team title, Parkston was second and Chamberlain was third as a team.

 

Cross Country
at the Miller Invite on Monday, Miller’s Pierce Baumberger won the boys race in a time of 18:07:03. Madisyn Gellhaus of Ipswich won the girls race in a time of 21:08:82. BreAna Aske of Jones County placed eighth.

At the Kearney Invite, Mason McGreer of Perkins County won the boys race in a time of 16:20:4. Sage Holtmeier of Tri County won the girls race in a time of 20:29:8.
