Yesterday league area results:
Winner Jr. Legion fell to Wagener 6-4. However, Winner Jr. Legion finished in the top 2 at regions in Redfield. They have qualified for state tournament in Groton on August 9th through the 11th.
Plankinton over Chamberlain 13-1 in 7 innings.
Four Corners over Wessington Springs 8-2.
Both Plankinton and Four Corners advance to the state championship and will be facing each other in the championship game of the Pony Hills League Bracket.
Mt. Vernon beat Wagner 8-2 to advance to state championship and to the championship for the Sunshine League.
Winner Country Club is holding Golf Clinics on Monday nights from 6:00 to 6:55 for ages 9 to 12 and then from 7:00 To 7:55 for ages 13 and up. TO sign up you can call 842-0686.
