Tripp County 4-H looking to hire
The Tripp County 4-H Program is looking to fill a 4-H summer assistant position. Applicants must be 21, have 4-H experience and working with youth. Virtual Horse Races to happen Saturday in Chamberlain
Virtual video horse races will take place this Saturday, March 7th at the Chamberlain Community Center! Happy hour will be at 7pm, and the races will get underway at 7:30. There will be twelve races that will take place.
Cleanup Days to happen in May in Mission
The City of Mission will hold cleanup days beginning May 3rd through the 9th for Ward 1. They ask property owners to put their separated/unwanted items into the following groups: trash, wood and furniture, metals/appliances and tires.
Lazy J Sporting Club to host Saint Patrick’s Day Dinner on March 14th

Gardening Workshop coming up in Winner
South Dakota State University Extension will be hosting a Gardening Workshop on Tuesday, March 17th at the SDSU Extension Winner Regional Center from 6 -7pm. Topics will include seed-starting, transplanting, soil fertility, varietal selection, irrigation requirements, protected cultivation, integrated pest management, and harvest strategies tailored to local environmental conditions. This one hour workshop will be offered in seven communities and is open to participants of all gardening skill levels. The class will be taught by Nick Volesky, SDSU Extension Horticulture and Specialty Crops Field Specialist based in Rapid City.
