The Winner FFA Community Meal and Dance takes place tonight at the old middle school gym from  from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  There will be food, drinks, and dancing in the form of a free will donation to raise proceeds for FFA activities.

The Gregory Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual St. Patrick’s Day Dance on Saturday, March 12th from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium.  This year will feature country music artist Weston Frank performing live that evening.

The Film “Marry Me”, rated PG-13, starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez will be showing at the Lyric Theater in Platte, S.D. this weekend.  Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Winner City Council will hold their regular meeting tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Winner City Council Chambers at 325 S. Monroe Street.  Please note the meeting is scheduled a day later due to the President’s Day Holiday.

The Gregory City Council will hold their regular meeting Tuesday, February 22^nd at 6:00 p.m. in Gregory City Hall located at 120 W. 6^th St, Gregory, SD.  Please note this meeting is delayed from it’s usual Monday timeline due to the President’s Day Holiday.

Kegs and Corks will take place in Gregory  Friday, February 26th at 6pm at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. There will be a sip, sample, and social from 6pm to 7pm at the Gregory community room. There will be over 20 different wines and 15 different beers as well as a mimosa bar, delicious food, live and silent auction items and more. One can purchase tickets at the Gregory Dallas Chamber website.

The Wood Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual fundraiser tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. at the Wood Community Hall. It will be a free will donation and they’ll be serving up a prime rib roast and pork loin dinner as well as hot dogs for kids.

Winner Regional Health and Sanford Health Heart will be offering heart and vascular screenings on Monday, February 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  and Tuesday, February 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The cost for the screening is $25 and to schedule an appointment one can call 605-312-2150.  Walk-ins will be accepted as well.
