Gregory County FFA will hold a tailgate feed on Friday, August 23rd from 5:30-7pm at the Burke City Park.  FFA members will be serving up a roast beef sandwich meal for a free will donation.

The 18th annual Iona Cowboy Poker Run will happen on September 21st. Signup will start at 11am. All forms of transportation are welcome. A free will donation meal will start at 5:30pm.

The Winner Livestock Auction will hold their annual special stocker, feeder and replacement heifer barbecue sale this Friday, August 23rd. Feeders will sell at 8:30am, and barbecue starts at 11:30am. They are expecting over 6,000 head in the offering. Further information can be found at winnerlivestock.com.

A benefit supper and auction will take place for Chad Moser on August 24th at the Winner Armory. A cornhole tournament will begin at 2pm, followed by a free will donation feed and silent auction. Anyone who would like to donate auction items can drop them off at Automate in Winner. If you have questions, call Kelly Duffy at 840-1237.

The Ray Bokker memorial poker run will take place in Central South Dakota on Saturday, August 24th. Registration will take place at the Pheasant Bar in Winner beginning at 11am. Numerous stops all across the area will be made during the poker run. All forms of transportation are welcome to take part.

The Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club in Winner will be hosting a Trap invitational on August 17th at the Trap Range. Registration will start at 9am, and shooting will begin at 10am. The cost is $40 per person. If you have questions, call Tim Pravecek at 830-0220.
