The 1st annual Chamberlain Farm, Home and Sports Show will be held Friday, February 22nd through Sunday, February 24th at the Arrowhead Cedar Shore Resort in Oacoma. There will be many vendors from in and outside of the area. Seminars will be held each day from the Game Fish & Parks, Farmers Business Network and Farm Bureau Financial Services. Sanford will be doing heart screenings on Friday, the 22nd and Saturday, the 23rd.

Rosebud Electric awarding a $1,000 scholarship
The Rosebud Electric Cooperative will again be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a student of a Rosebud Electric Cooperative member. Applications can be picked up at the High School Counselor’s Office or at Rosebud Electric in Gregory. The office to apply for the scholarship is February 15th.
Ugly Sweater Party coming up Friday in Gregory
The Gregory/Dallas Chamber of Commerce will hold a city wide ugly sweater party this Friday, February 1st! You have the chance to get big discounts at participating businesses on Friday. You can also signup to win great prizes throughout the day and also during Friday night’s basketball doubleheader when Gregory hosts Parkston. Be sure to wear your ugly sweater!

Colome firemen to hold chicken supper February 9th
The Colome Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual chicken supper on Saturday, February 9th at the Colome American Legion from 5:30 to 8pm. Stop by and support the firemen and enjoy their delicious fried chicken, salad, beans, buns and desserts! It will be free will admission to attend.
Mathis Implement to hold anniversary open house in February
We encourage everyone to checkout the 61st anniversary open house that will run February 11th through the 15th at Mathis Implement on West Highway 18 in Winner next month! There will be great deals all week long and a lunch will be served on Friday, February 15th from 11:30am to 2pm. There will be ten percent off cash purchases on parts all week long during the open house, excluding twine and net wrap.
Winner Boy Scout soup supper to happen tonight
Winner Boy Scout Troup 100 will be holding their annual soup supper tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 at St. Mary’s Hall in Winner. They will be serving chili and chicken noodle soup, along with a variety of desserts. Tickets are five dollars for adults and four dollars for children. Benefit Pheasant Hunt coming up
There will be a benefit pheasant hunt on Saturday, February 2nd in Gregory County. Rolls and coffee will be served at the Dixon Town Hall beginning at 10:30am. At 3pm, hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served at Buffalo Butte Ranch. If you have questions, call Scott Anshutz at 830-1806.

“Kegs and Corks” will be held on Friday, February 15th beginning at 6:30pm at the Gregory Community Room. They will have win and beer tasting, along with a live and silent auction.
