Burger Battle ongoing through May 31st with the Winner Chamber
The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce has their burger battle going on through the end of this month. The Winner Country Club has an O.P. Stack Burger on Wednesday’s only. The Winner Bakery and Deli serves up their Hawaiian Delight Burger on Tuesday’s, the Yellow Lab in Colome has a Rueben Burger, Huckleberry’s in Winner has a bacon jam burger, while El Tapatio serves up their El Tap Shrimp Burger.
Winner to begin Summer Lunch Program on June 2nd
The Winner School District will be kicking off their free summer lunch program on Monday, June 2nd. The program will run through Monday, June 30th. They will be serving a free lunch Monday’s through Thursday’s from 11:45am to 12:45pm at the Winner Armory. No paperwork is required and no questions asked. There is no cost for the meals as they will be free to all kids ages 18 and under. Meals must be eaten at the Winner Armory.
Blood Drive in Winner set for Wednesday and Thursday
The South Dakota Cattlewomen will be helping put on a two day blood drive in Winner this week. The first day will be Wednesday, May 21st from 11:50am to 2:50pm, and on Thursday, May 22nd from 1 to 4:50pm at the Winner City Office. Appointment for singles and double donations are available.

Mission to hold city wide cleanup next month
The City of Mission will hold a city wide cleanup next month. Ward 3 cleanup will be from June 9th through the 15th. Ward 2 cleanup will be from June 23rd through the 29th. Ward 1 cleanup will be from July 7th through the 13th. If you have questions, contact the city office at 856- 4499.

50 year celebration happening today at Divine Concrete
