We encourage everyone to come and checkout the Nutcracker in Winner, located on the east side of the former Nelson Electronics Building. They have many unique items like: wine racks, wall decor,  barnwood wall decor and shelving, different types of wood decor, small Christmas trees, backlit cross, reindeer, special crossed made of wood, memory box, toys for the kids and flowerpot holders. The Nutcracker will be open 12-6 Monday through Saturday, and from 10-2 on Saturday.

A big book sale is happening in Winner at the Tripp County Library! The book sale will run through December 21st from 5-7pm each of the three nights. They ask that you please use the garage entrance to come in and check out the sale.

The Sounds of Christmas in Winner will be held tonight starting at 7pm at the Catholic Church! Please come and hear the wonderful talent of the Winner Community during the holidays, and get in the spirit!

Just a reminder from the Homesteader in both Winner and Gregory, that they will be closed from December 23rd through January 3rd. Also, a reminder for all of you Christmas shoppers that you can pick up gift certificates for holidays. They make for great stocking stuffers on Christmas!

Just a reminder that the Tripp County Commissioners will be holding a special meeting this morning beginning at 10am. The meeting will happen inside the Commissioners Room at the Tripp County Courthouse to discuss South Dakota legislative issues with Rocky Blare and Lee Qualm.

Coming up on Monday, December 17th, will be the Gregory Elementary School Concert starting at 7pm at the Gregory Auditorium. Come out and enjoy the sounds of the season! Bankwest in Gregory will hold a Holiday Open House on December 19th and December 20th with refreshments and door prizes for you to sign up for both days next week!
