The 13th annual Yellow Rose Stock Dog Trial will be held Friday and Saturday at the Yellow Rose Arena in Platte! Friday will be the dog training clinic starting at 9am, and is $50 per dog. At 3pm, it’s the sheep dog trial. On Saturday at 8am, it will be the cattle dog trial. At 8pm is the cattle trial finals.

Checkout the Nutcracker in Winner!
We encourage everyone to come and checkout the Nutcracker in Winner, located on the east side of the former Nelson Electronics Building. They have many unique items like: wine racks, wall decor, Christmas items, barnwood wall decor and shelving, different types of wood decor, small Christmas trees, backlit cross, reindeer, special crossed made of wood, memory box, toys for the kids and flowerpot holders. The Nutcracker will be open 12-6 Monday through Saturday, and from 10-2 on Saturday through Christmas.
Winner Regional Holiday Festival ready to go for Saturday
The Winner Regional Foundation will hold their 2018 Holiday Festival this Saturday, December 1st at St. Mary’s Hall in Winner. The festival will begin at 5pm with a wine and beer social, dinner will be served at 6:30 pm followed by the live and silent auctions. Tickets are just $50 and can be purchased in advance at Marty’s or at Winner Regional Healthcare Center. Providing the entertainment will be the Tami Hall Band. Proceeds will benefit the Winner Regional Healthcare Center.
B&J Cycle to hold open house next week
Plan to attend B&J Cycle’s open house next week in Winner! Their open house will take place on Friday, December 7th. Come out and enjoy lunch between 11 and 2, and you can look over the new 2019 Polaris ATV’s. There will be big savings storewide during the open house as well.
Ducks Unlimited Banquet coming up on Monday in Winner
The Rosebud/Winner Ducks Unlimited Banquet will take place on Monday, December 3rd next week at West River Tap in Winner. The doors will open at 5:30pm. Dinner will be served at 7pm and auction and raffles will follow. You can get advanced tickets this week at Jeff’s Gun Vault and at West River Tap.

Christmas at the Bowring will be held on Saturday, December 8th beginning at 6pm mountain time. This is by reservation only. Tickets are $25 and they are available now through November 30th. Blood Drive to happen in Mission this week
Todd County High School will be hosting a public blood drive at the high school in Mission this week. The drive will be held on Tuesday, November 27th from 9am to 1:15pm tomorrow. Community Thanksgiving Meals in Gregory and Chamberlain
A community Thanksgiving service and dinner will be taking place in Gregory at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Thursday. A community worship service will go from 10:30 to 11:30 am followed by dinner being served from 11:30 to 1:30. A community Thanksgiving meal will be happening at the Chamberlain Community Center on Thursday from 11am to 2pm.
Mid-Winter Fair coming up on Saturday
The 2018 Mid-Winter Fair will take place this weekend! The event will take place on Saturday, November 24th from 9am to 4pm at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. You will be able to checkout over forty different vendors that will be in attendance. Santa will be there for pictures from 10am to Noon! Breakfast and lunch will be served by the After Prom Committee.
