"Two Witches, No Waiting" back at the WCPH this week
The Winner Community Playhouse will host the presentation of the comedy, “Two Witches, No Waiting” this week! There will be performances on Thursday, October 4th, Friday, October 5th and on Saturday, October 6th! Doors will open at 7pm and curtain time is 7:30. To make reservations, call 605-842-1958.
Community Blood Drive set for tomorrow in Gregory
The Gregory Community Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, October 4th from 12:30pm to 6:00pm tomorrow at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can call 1-800-287-4903 if you would like to schedule an appointment. Give the gift of life in Gregory this week!
Event coming to the WCC this weekend
A Neon Nine walk/run will take place on Saturday, October 6th at the Winner Country Club. Registration will start at 5 and the race gets underway at 5:30pm. The cost to participate is twenty five dollars, which includes a race t-shirt and a meal. There will be a raffle drawing for a queen size star quilt, set of metal angels and other items to be added. All money raised will stay in the area to support breast cancer patients and survivors.
Ranch Rodeo coming to Murdo on Sunday
The Central South Dakota Invitational Ranch Rodeo will take place at the Murdo Rodeo Arena on Sunday, October 7th starting at 2pm.There will be a wild cow milking event in addition to the ranch rodeo. Calcutta will start at 2pm. Participating towns include: Murdo, Lower Brule, White River, Winner, Dallas, Isabel, Union Center, Blunt, Kadoka, Fort Pierre, Hermosa and Faith.
Karla's Last Kall to hold Poker Run this weekend
The annual Karla’s last Kall ATV-UTV Poker Run is coming up this Saturday, October 6th beginning at 10:30am with registration and the poker run starting at 11am! Fall Clean Up continues in White River
It is clean up time Mellette County! The City of White River is having a fall clean-up take place now through the end of the day this Saturday. The city will not be hauling clean-up items. The landfill will be open on Saturday from 12 noon to 4pm. Anyone needing to head out to the dump during the week needs to call Leroy at 605-840-2039 to arrange a time.
Community Memorial Hospital event to happen at the Civic Center on Saturday
The grand opening celebration at the Community Memorial Hospital in Burke is this Saturday, September 29th from 4 to 7pm with a meal and live music starting at 5pm. The event will now be taking place at the Burke Civic Center due to the colder weather in the forecast. This will be a great family fun event and everyone is welcome to attend!
