An enhanced concealed carry course will be held on August 12th from 8am-6pm at the Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club in Winner. Lap-A Thon Fundraiser going on in Presho
A lap a thon fundraiser is going on this month at the Presho City Pool. Their goal is to raise $500 as they look to build a patio on the north side of the pool seating. Modern Woodman will match the funds. Swimmers who complete 20 laps or more will get to throw a pie in the face of a pool employee! The winners will be announced at the city wide pool party on Saturday, July 28th. For more information you can call Melissa at 491-5453.

The Lady Wranglers Open Horse Show will take place on July 22nd beginning at 10am at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine. The entry fee is five dollars and there will be age divisions for pre-junior, junior, senior and adult. Blood drives coming up in White River and Winner
Coming up on Wednesday, July 18th, a blood drive will take place in White River at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall from 1:15-5pm. To make an appointment call Donna at 259-3372. Winner VFW Auxiliary July meeting set for Sunday
The July meeting of the Winner VFW Auxiliary will be held this Sunday, July 8th starting at 2pm at the Tripp County Library. All members are urged to attend as this will be the first meeting of the year. The Auxiliary received excellent awards at the State Convention and those will be announced this weekend.

Clearfield Hall to celebrate 100 years this month
Come and celebrate 100 years for the Clearfield Hall on Saturday, July 28th beginning at 3pm as there will be a short program at the hall along with kids and adult games, in addition to supper and music. There will be a drawing for a quilt and a gun raffle. Bring your cooler and celebrate 100 years of the Clearfield Hall!

A busy Fourth of July in Gregory
There will be plenty of activities happening in Gregory for the Fourth of July today: The Avera Gregory Run/Walk will start at 8am. Black Hills Paintball will start at 9am at the Gregory Auditorium. The Kiddie Parade will start at 10:30 as everyone will meet at Krotter’s Corner. The Big Parade will get underway at 11am as Jack Clark will be the Parade Marshall. Free swimming will be offered at the Pool from 1-4. The Street Bandits Car Show will run from 1-4. A Bean Bag Tournament will start after the Parade at Gregory Lanes, bingo will be happening along with plenty of baseball at the park!
