There will be a retirement party for Tripp County Chief Deputy, Todd Stiehl this afternoon beginning at 2pm in the community room of the Tripp County Courthouse. Come congratulate Todd on 20 tremendous years as chief deputy in Tripp County.

Tonight, the Winner City Council held a Special Meeting regarding Resolution 2025-7.  This Resolution was to Declare Emergency for the City of Winner-transformer upgrade.  After an explanation of the situation by Public Works Director Troy Kruger, there was a roll call vote.  The motion passed unanimously with one Council person absent.  We will bring you further details in the coming weeks.

A blood drive will take place tomorrow at the Burke Community Civic Center from 9:15am to 2:45pm. If you would like to schedule a time to donate blood, you can go online to lifeservebloodcenter.org.

Golden West will be hosting a free pool party and picnic at the Winner City Pool on Wednesday, August 13th from 5 to 8pm. Kids can stop by and enjoy an evening of swimming and a hot dog meal at no cost. There will also be prize drawings throughout the evening too.
