The Burke High School Student Council is sponsoring a Dodgeball Tournament tonight , starting at 6:00pm in the high school gym. Each team must consist of 5-8 players

SDSU Extension will host a free private applicator training event next week on Wednesday, March 19th from 1:30 to 4:30pm at the Winner Regional Extension Center, located at 325 S. Monroe, Suite #125. A blood drive will take place in Chamberlain today from 7:30-11am, and again from 12:30-3:30 inside the High School Gym. Donors must be at least 17 years of age. You are asked to bring a photo ID to the drive before you donate.

Chamberlain will be hosting a game night at the High School Gym for 8th through 12th graders tonight from 7-10pm. Kids can swing by and take part in card games, dodgeball cornhole and nine square. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club in Winner will be holding a basic pistol and South Dakota enhanced carry course on Saturday, March 6th from 9am to 5pm. Court Documents have been filed this week with regard to a Winner woman.  The court documents were filed on Monday, and they say that Ivy Heron has admitted to being involved in sex trafficking a child.  When sentencing happens, Heron could face life in Prison, the maximum sentence.  A guilty plea from Heron could happen later in March.
