Private Applicator Training at SDSU Extension in Winner next week
SDSU Extension will host a free private applicator training event next week on Wednesday, March 19th from 1:30 to 4:30pm at the Winner Regional Extension Center, located at 325 S. Monroe, Suite #125. Blood Drive in Chamberlain today
A blood drive will take place in Chamberlain today from 7:30-11am, and again from 12:30-3:30 inside the High School Gym. Donors must be at least 17 years of age. You are asked to bring a photo ID to the drive before you donate.

Chamberlain to hold a game night tonight
Chamberlain will be hosting a game night at the High School Gym for 8th through 12th graders tonight from 7-10pm. Kids can swing by and take part in card games, dodgeball cornhole and nine square. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Winner Community Playhouse cast presenting spring play this weekend
The Winner Community Playhouse is presenting “Bed, Breakfast and Broadway” this weekend! Performances will be tonight and tomorrow. Doors will open at 7pm, and the curtain time is 7:30. Advance tickets are $10, and are $12 at the door. To make reservations, call 842-1958.

Pistol and Carry course to happen Saturday in Winner
The Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club in Winner will be holding a basic pistol and South Dakota enhanced carry course on Saturday, March 6th from 9am to 5pm. The class fee is $150 for first time applicants. It will be $75 for enhanced carry 5 year renewals. Pre-registration is required. Please call or text John at 840-9477.
Court Documents filed Monday
Court Documents have been filed this week with regard to a Winner woman. The court documents were filed on Monday, and they say that Ivy Heron has admitted to being involved in sex trafficking a child. When sentencing happens, Heron could face life in Prison, the maximum sentence. A guilty plea from Heron could happen later in March.
