Sanford Chamberlain will host a holiday meal kit drive thru this Wednesday, December 20th starting at 4pm. 100 meal kits consisting of lasagna, breadsticks, salad, pie and juice will be available. It’s a first come, first serve event for the public.

Bryce Leatherwood to perform at the Rosebud Casino in 2024!
Voice winner and Country Star Bryce Leatherwood will perform live at the Rosebud Casino on Saturday, February 17th! Doors will open at 7pm, and the concert will start at 8pm. V.I.P. and general admission tickets are on sale now at rosebudcasino.com.

The 2023 Winter Wonderland Display is now open to the public in Chamberlain ! The Sparkle Committee is putting on the display. You can drive through the light display at the American Creek Park all throughout the holiday season the river city! If your group is interested in having a display, contact Donna Buche at 680-1202.
DB’s Bait & Tackle to hold customer appreciation night tomorrow
DB’s Bait & Tackle in Winner will host a customer appreciation night on December 15th! They will have 10 to 50 percent off their entire store, excluding ice shacks and ice augers from 5 to 9. Door prizes will be up for grabs as well from 5 to 9. The first 15 people who purchase $20 of Rapala will receive a free cap. Food and drinks will be provided at the event too.
Referendum vote results from Tuesday in Winner
Yesterday was the referendum vote in Winner. The “yes” votes were 202, and the “no” votes were 99. The Winner City Council will officially canvass the votes and results on Monday, December 18th at 6:30pm.
Carter Coyote Classic to happen on Saturday
The annual Carter Coyote Classic will take place on Saturday, December 16th. A rules meeting will be held on Friday night, December 15th at 7pm at the Red Hills Last Chance in Carter. Longtime Winner Football Coach Harvey Naasz passes away
The football world lost a great one over the weekend. Longtime Winner Football Coach Harvey Naasz passed away over the weekend. Mr. Naasz was a Hall of Fame Football Coach who won several State Titles, with his final title coming in November of 1989. He retired from coaching High School Football shortly after that game. Mr. Naasz was a well respected teacher and Athletic Director for the Winner School District as well.
