The 2023 Mid Winter Fair is coming up on Saturday, November 25th at the Gregory Auditorium. The event will run from 9am to 4pm. There will be numerous vendors to explore! Santa will be there from noon to 2pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served by the after prom committee.

There will be an Ideal Community Meeting on Thursday, November 16th beginning at 7pm at the Winner Community Hall. Here’s a look at what’s on the agenda :

Local Cub Scouts will be going door to door this Saturday, November 18th as they will be picking up non-perishable food items for their annual scouting food drive. They will start pickup items at 9:30am. All donations will stay local.

The 2023 Winter Wonderland Display is coming to Brule County starting December 1st! The Sparkle Committee is putting on the display. You can drive through the light display at the American Creek Park all throughout the holiday season the river city! If your group is interested in having a display, contact Donna Buche at 680-1202.

The Purple Hulls will be in concert tomorrow at Prairie View Gospel Barn in Gregory starting at 6:30pm! Doors and concessions will open at 5pm. You can purchase advance tickets today at Bankwest in Gregory.

A Veterans Day Breakfast will happen this Saturday, November 11th in Colome from 7–11am. They will be serving up pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits, coffee, apple juice and orange juice. Veterans and spouses eat for free.

The Hamill Horseman’s Club will hold a soup supper and awards night on Saturday, November 11th . Supper will be served at 5pm, and awards will be presented at 7pm. The cost is 5 dollars per ticket, or you can get five tickets for 20 dollars. Contact any Horseman’s Club member to get your tickets!
