Benefit for Meagan Blare to happen October 21st

There will be a benefit and trail ride event for Meagan Blare coming up on Saturday, October 21st. Festivities will begin at the Hamill Hall. The trail ride will start at 3pm, with all modes of transportation welcome. Cowboy church will follow after the ride. Supper will be served at the Hamill Church. There will also be a pie auction, petting zoo, inflatables and wagon rides. It’s all for a free will donation.

Busy fall at Cozard Memorial Library

The Cozard Memorial Library in Chamberlain has their school year programs going on!  The Lego/Engineering Club is on Monday’s from 3:45-5. Preschool story time takes place on Wednesday’s from 11-11:40, and after school story time takes place from 3:45-4:30. The programs are free and no registration is required.

Date set for Sharpshooter Classic in Winner

The 13th annual Winner Area Chamber of Commerce Sharpshooter Bird and Clay Classic will happen on December 8th and 9th! Friday night will be the banquet. Saturday night will be the awards banquet. There will be gun raffles happening both nights. Gun prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. For more information, contact the the Winner Area Chamber at 842-1533.

Red Thunder to play at Carlock this weekend

If you are looking to have some fun this weekend, Red Thunder will be playing all your favorite country music this Saturday, October 7th at the Carlock Dance Hall! The music will start at 8pm and go until midnight. Keep in mind that Carlock will have a haunted house setup on Friday, October 20th, before their Halloween Masquerade Party on the 21st.
