Hometown Craft and Vendor Market in Platte July 29th
The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on the Hometown Craft and Vendor Market on Saturday, July 29th. It will take place at the Platte Community Building from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cost is $40 for a booth and $5 for a table. One can contact the chamber at 605-337-2275.

Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny Showing at the Lyric Theater in Platte Next Weekend
The Summer block buster “Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will be showing next weekend at the Lyric Theater in Platte from June 30th through July 3rd. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings.
