The D.C. Lynch Carnival will be in Gregory on Sunday July 2nd through Tuesday 4th on Main St. .  The carnival will run each day from 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.  One can look at the Gregory Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce’s page for any time changes due to weather conditions

Winner Chicken Dinner in Winner, S.D. will be open on Monday July 3rd and closed on Tuesday, July 4th.  Right now they are taking  pre-orders for 4th of July chicken meals and they can be picked up on Monday, July 3rd.  They also have fresh made cold chicken.

The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on the Hometown Craft and Vendor Market on Saturday, July 29th.   It will take place at the Platte Community Building from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The cost is $40 for a booth and $5 for a table.  One can contact the chamber at 605-337-2275.

The Summer block buster “Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will be showing next weekend at the Lyric Theater in Platte from June 30th through July 3rd.  Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings.
