The Bonesteel Fire Department will host a pickup and tractor pull on Saturday, June 24th north of the Bonesteel Ball Fields off of Eldeen Avenue. with weigh in starting at 10:00 a.m. Cost for adults is $10, ages 6-12 are $5 , vets and kids under 6 are free. The prize total that day will be $1000.

Hilltop Drive-In Theater Schedule for this Weekend
The Hilltop Drive-In Theater on West Highway 18 in Gregory will be showing the Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Showings will be around dusk on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. For future upcoming films one can visit their Facebook page.
City of Chamberlain and Town of Pukwana Municipal Election Results
The City of Chamberlain and the Town of Pukwana held municipal elections on Tuesday, June 6th.
For the City of Chamberlain election, Tim Thomas and Monte Claussen were vying for a three-year term of mayor. Monte Clausen defeated Tim Thomas 232 votes to 171 votes.
For the Town of Pukwana, incumbent Steve Persing and challenger June Hawley were running for one board of trustee position for a three-year term. June Hawley defeated Steve Persing 42 votes to 5 votes.

The City of Chamberlain and the Town of Pukwana will hold municipal elections today. The election polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Gregory City Meeting Tomorrow Night
The Gregory City Council will hold their bi-monthly meeting tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m at Gregory City Hall located at 120 West 6th Street. Please note the City of Gregory meets on the first and third Monday of each month.
Single Vehicle Rollover Accident this Morning just outside of Winner.
Approximately at 5:30 am this morning there was a single vehicle rollover accident that took place just east and a little south of Winner, S.D. There were four passengers in the vehicle and were all taken to the hospital. All four passengers had non-life threating injuries.
Winner Pix Theater Opening Friday, June 23rd
The Winner Pix Theater is set to open for its first film of the season. Opening night will be Friday, June 23rd. The film will be decided upon early next week. They are still looking for staff and one can visit Job Services in Winner to apply.
