The Wood Fire Department will hold their annual fundraiser tonight at the Wood Community Hall beginning at 5pm! There will be a free will offering meal served, along with a live auction and 50/50 raffle. Tickets are just $5 just each, and can be purchased by contacting a Wood Fireman. All of the proceeds will benefit the Fire Department.

The Gregory County Historical Society will meet tonight at 7pm at the Burke Civic Center Community room.  Clarence Shoemaker will be presenting the program: “Washington At Valley Forge – Bloody Footprints in the Snow”.  Everyone is welcome.

A student from the Rosebud Electric Cooperative service area will be named the winner of a $1,000 scholarship later this month! This marks the 33rd year that the Cooperative is offering the scholarship. You can get an application at an area school counselor’s office or at rosebudelectric.com. The application deadline is tomorrow.

A benefit was held this past Friday night at the Tripp County Fairgrounds for Kelly Duffy.  There was great support from the community and with everyone’s help, $115, 275 was raised to help Kelly with his medical and travel expenses.  Kelly and Lisa have been humbled and would like to thank the entire community for their support.
