Buche Ace Hardware in Winner will host The Stars and Stripes BBQ Party on Saturday, May 26th from  11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They’ll be serving up hot dogs, brats, chips and a drink at no cost.  This will be an opportunity for people to view several top line brands of grills on display and more.

Ainsworth Schools will be offering a summer lunch program starting June 5th to ensure that area youth have access to meals.  This program is for kids ages 1 through 18.  Meals will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the high school.

There will be a 5K Run/Walk Benefit for Meagan Blare this Saturday, May 27th at the Tripp County 4-H Center.  Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. and the race will follow at 8:00 p.m.  Entry fee will include meal and a t-shirt .

Lennox Lapsley’s Running For Healthy Hearts Half Marathon takes place Saturday, July 15th in Millboro, S.D.  Runners and walkers can sign up at www.lennoxjacklapsleyfoundation.com.  Proceeds from the race will be donated to University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital to help babies with congenital heart defects.

The Winner Drive -In Theater in Winner, S.D. will kick off their season on Friday, May 26th with new theater owners Jill and Austin Moser.   The first film of the season will be Guardians of The Galaxy:  Volume 3.

The Hilltop Drive-In Theater in Gregory opens for the season this Friday.  They will be showing the movie “Fast X” starring Vin Diesel.  Showtime this season will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday around dusk each evening.

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will host another Chamber After Hours event on  Friday June 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The location this time around will be at Statewide Ag’s new building in their new location.  There will be door prizes for chamber members to win and snacks provided.
