Valentine Main Street Project Update
The closure at the intersection of HWY 83 & Main Street, west toward Cherry Street, will be opened to traffic. HWY 12 traffic will be directed to the Cherry Street Detour along with the HWY 83 traffic. Main Street will remain open with periodic closures.
Expect Traffic Signals on 2nd & 3rd Street to be operational, paint lines placed, and some street signs placed.
IES will build the last footings and wiring for street lights.
Barnes Construction will finish their removals and misc. work.
Paulsen Construction is wrapping up concrete placement. Driveways and sidewalks will be finished this week with some misc. work remaining for the following week.

Grossenburg Ride and Drive Event in Winner Friday, May12th
Grossenburg Implement in Winner will host a Ride and Drive event on Friday May 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Customers will be able to test drive riding mowers, compact tractors and UTVs. They will be serving a free lunch with hot dogs, chips and other refreshments.
Feeding South Dakota in Winner Tomorrow

Summer Kick off Grill Out Fundraiser at County Food Stores in Winner May 25th
County Fair Food Stores in Winner will have a summer kick off grill out at their store on Thursday, May 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will be serving hotdogs, chips and a drink for $3.00. All proceeds will go to Meagan Blare to help defray medical costs.

Benefit for Meagan Blare this Sunday
There will be a benefit for Meagan Blare on Sunday. The benefit will start at 12:00 p.m. at the Tripp County 4-H Center and will consist of a basked potato feed, silent and live auction. Donations can be dropped off at Chillie’s Liquor or Atlas Chiropractic.
