A legislative meet and greet with Marty Overweg, Mykala Voita and John Harter will take place on Monday, May 11th. The first session will be held at the community room on the north side of the Tripp County Courthouse from 5 to 6:30pm, and then from 7 to 9pm at the Witten Community Center.

The Winner FFA Chapter will hold their annual banquet tonight. The banquet will be taking place at the Tripp County 4-H Center in Winner. It will start off with a meal beginning at 6pm.

The Colome Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual chicken supper on May 30th from 5:30 to 8pm at the Colome Fire Hall. Stop by for a delicious supper and show your support for the hard working firemen!

A FRIENDS OF BRIAN SCHRADER BENEFIT WILL HAPPEN ON MAIN STREET IN COLOME ON MAY 24TH BEGINNING AT NOON. THERE WILL BE A SILENT AND LIVE AUCTION, ALONG WITH FOOD VENDORS SETUP, ALONG WITH LIVE MUSIC AND CORN HOLE GOING ON. MONETARY DONATIONS CAN BE MADE AT BANKWEST. DONATION ITEMS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT DAN’S LAST SHOT IN COLOME AND ALSO AT MARDI PEDERSON’S SHOP. THERE WILL ALSO BE PLENTY GOING ON FOR THE EVENT AT THE COLOME LEGION, AND AT THE FRONTIER BAR IN COLOME TOO.

The Chamberlain Middle School Explorers are holding their 25th annual Explorers vs Dirty Cars Event today from 9am to 3pm at the Riverview parking lot. The Explorers are raising funds to help restore restrooms along the River to School Trail, and their goal is to wash 100 vehicles. You can make a pledge by contacting Doug Knust at 680-9999.

A benefit for Amy Moeller will take place tomorrow at the Witten Community Hall. A meal will be served at 5pm, followed by a silent auction from 5 to 6:30, before the live auction starts at 7pm. Monetary donations can be made at First Fidelity Bank in Winner.
