A men’s college basketball scrimmage will take place at the Chamberlain High School Gym on October 22nd, as the South Dakota School of Mines will take on Northern State at 5:30. Admission for the game will be donated items to the Chamberlain Cub Pack Program. Suggested donation items include granola bars, oatmeal packets and Easy Mac- Mac N’ Cheese.

At the State A Boys Golf Meet on Monday in Hartford, Logan Collette of Dakota Valley, and Jonathan DeBoer of Milbank tied for the top spot atop the leaderboard after both guys shot a 75 yesterday. Chamberlain’s Chase McQuirk tied for sixth with a 78. Winner Area’s top golfer was Ryder Halligan as he shot an 82. Dakota Valley is atop the team standings, while Winner Area is eighth as a team and Chamberlain is tenth.

At the SESD Cross Country Meet yesterday in Chamberlain, Walter Graesser of Platte/Geddes won the boys race in a time of 18:19.
