The State Cross Country Meets were held Saturday at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls. In the Girls Class B Race, Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern was victorious in a time of 19:39:44. Autumn Baker of Kimball/White Lake was runner up in a time of 19:41:58. Gregory’s Emma Thomas was 10th. Kimball/White Lake was able to hold off Potter County for the team title. Gregory was 8th as a team. Winning the Girls Class A Race was Ellie Maddox of Sioux Falls Christian in a time of 18:44:63. Kinsey Evans of Chamberlain was fourth in a time of 18:57:67. Custer won the team title while Chamberlain was runner up. In the Boys Class B Race, Lane Krautschun of Bison was victorious in a time of 16:35:82. Miller won the boys team title while Kimball/White Lake was 5th. In the Girls Class AA race, Alea Hardie of O’Gorman was victorious in a time of 17:31:28. Ali Bainbridge of Lincoln was runner up in a time of 17:41:60. O’ Gorman won the team title and Lincoln was runner up.  In the Boys Class A race, Sawyer Clarkson of Belle Fourche was victorious in a time of 15:27:13. Kade Watson of Winner Area was seventh in a time of 16:44:75. Dom Santiago of Chamberlain was 13th. Sioux Falls Christian won the boys team title. In the Boys Class AA race, Simeon Birnbaum of Stevens won in a time of 15:48:64. Stevens won the boys team title while Harrisburg was runner up.
