Cross Country,

At the Platte/Geddes Invite, Luke Mentele of Mitchell Christian won the boys race in 17:18:3. Elijah Haukaas of White River place third, while Walter Graesser of Platte/Geddes was fourth. Berklee Mills of Platte/Geddes won the girls race in a time of 20:57:2. Ella Holter of Platte/Geddes placed fifth while Clara Steffen of Burke was tenth.

 

Volleyball

At the Pentagon Tournament in Sioux Falls, Winner went 1-3 on the day. Winner fell to Rapid City Christian, Dell Rapids St. Mary’s and Wagner each in two sets. Winner was able to get a two set victory over Hill City.

At the Wessington Springs Tournament, Jones County over Wessington Springs in two sets. Jones County over James Valley Christian in two sets. Jones County fell to West Central in two sets. Howard over Lower Brule in two sets. James Valley Christian over Lower Brule in two sets. TDA over Lower Brule in two sets.

At the Gettysburg Tournament, White River over Gettysburg in three sets. Faulkton Area defeated White River in two sets.

Brayden Kriel of Chamberlain finished runner up shooting an 81. Winner’s Brody Calhoon was third with an 83. Carter Craven of Winner was fourth with an 84, while Cooper Craven of Winner was fifth with an 85. Chamberlain won the team title by 10 strokes over Winner, while Todd County was third.

Kaden Running Horse of White River was third, while Hayden Hand and Cadyn Brave Heart of White River finished fourth and fifth respectivly, while Michael Prue of Todd County finished sixth.
