At the Todd County Invite on Tuesday, Xavier Sanchez-Gonzalez of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte won the boys race in a time of 18:00:12. White River’s Elijah Haukaas placed third, Todd County’s Michael Prue was fourth and Weston Foster of Winner Area placed tenth. Tahca Zephier of Little Wound won the girls race in a time of 22:03:27. Alexsis Red Bird of Todd County was runner up. Avery Manke was Winner Area’s top runner as she placed sixth, and Kylie Sachtjen of Winner Area was seventh. Todd County won the girls team title, and Cheyenne Eagle Butte won the boys team title.

Karson Keiser of Winner Area was the medalist as he shot a 76. Chase McQuirk of Chamberlain was runner up with a 77. Cannon Speer of Chamberlain placed third with a 79. Brody Calhoon of Winner Area was fourth with an 81. Carter Craven of Winner Area finished 7th with an 84. Landon Calhoon of Winner Area also shot an 84 for 9th place. Winner Area won the team title, Parkston was second and Chamberlain was third as a team.
