The Burke National Honor Society is holding a food drive for the Wear N’ Wares Thrift Store Food Bank. Donations are being accepted until December 18th. Donations such as canned goods, paper products and cash are greatly appreciated

The Burke VFW will be holding Annual Christmas Turkey Bingo on Friday, December 19th starting at 7pm. The bar and restaurant will be open at 5pm that night. They also have a New Year’s Eve Dance and party with live music by KC Hughes and the Wayward Travelers,  plus party favors and champagne on Wednesday, December 31^st  from 9pm to 1am.

DB’s Bait & Tackle in Winner will hold a customer appreciation night on Friday, December 19th! There will 10 to 50 percent off items across the store! They will be handing out free caps, ice fishing rods and plenty of more giveaways. DB will be serving up brats during the evening too.

The City of Winner is issuing a snow alert beginning at 5am on Saturday, December 13th. Please remove all vehicles and trailers from the streets to avoid ticketing.

First Baptist Church in Winner will hold their annual Christmas Casseroles and Cobblers fundraiser this Saturday at the Church. It is being put on by the youth group. A meal will begin at 5:30, and an auction will start at 6:30.

Peterson Beel LLP of Winner will be holding a grand opening of their new office on Main Street in Winner tomorrow! The public is invited to stop by for food and refreshments from 3:30 to 5:30pm and checkout their new office!

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will host Ladies Night tomorrow from 5-8pm! New this year, they will be drawing 2-$100 winners every half hour. Drawings will be at 5:30, 6, 6:30, 7 and at 7:30. Ladies will have 60 seconds to call in to claim and must be in a participating chamber business. Registration will be by qr code.

Fort Thompson will hold their 1st annual Parade of Lights tonight! The event was postponed and rescheduled from this past Saturday due to weather. Things will get underway at the Tribal Hall this evening starting at 6:30pm.

Colome held their Parade of Lights on Saturday night. First place went to KD Ridgebacks and Dals. Second place went to First Fidelity Bank. 3rd place were the Catholic Daughters. Numerous people showed up for ‘Christmas in Colome’ all throughout the day!
