The Sons of the American Legion invite you to join them for Bingo at the Winner American Legion on Saturday, September 19th. At 6pm they will serve sloppy joes, hot dogs and beans, and then bingo starts at 7pm. Free will donations will be accepted for the food. There will be door prizes and 50% payback for bingo. Proceeds will go towards Dakota Senior Meals.

Predator Control meeting to happen in Colome on Monday
The Tripp & Gregory Counties Predator Control District will be hosting an informational meeting on Monday, September 21st at the Colome American Legion, with a meal to be served at 6:30PM and the meeting will begin at 7PM. Homecoming Coronation was held on Monday in Mission, Presho, Chamberlain and White River. Here’s a look at the results:

King- Carter Brave and Queen- TaShay LeRoy. Prince- Tyler Covey and Princess- Briley White Hat.
Lyman- Dawsen Volmer was crowned King, and Kenzie Wagner was crowned Queen.

Annual Meeting for Golden West set for next week
The 74th Annual Meeting of the Golden West Telecommunications Cooperative is coming up on Saturday, Sept 26th beginning at 11am at the Community Center in Wall. Registration starts will begin at 9:30AM.

Smoke on the Water Cook-Off happening in Oacoma today
The annual Smoke on the Water Cook-Off is set to happen today at the Oasis Campground in Oacoma. A Car Show will begin at 11am at the Riverview parking lot. A corn hole tournament will start at 2pm, before the rib and brisket feed gets underway at 5:30.

Harvest Festival coming to the Gregory City Park on September 19th
The Gregory/Dallas Chamber has their Harvest Festival coming up on September 19th at the Gregory City Park. Events will get underway at 2pm. Soup and pie tasting will run from 5 to 7. If you would like to make a soup or bake a pie, call the Chamber at 835-8270.
Butterfly Release to happen in Gregory this evening
Southern Plains of Gregory will be holding a butterfly release this evening beginning at 6:30pm at the Gregory City Park Performance Center. The guest speaker will be Kate Cook. The event is in recognition of Suicide Awareness Month.
