The 56th annual Tripp County 4-H Rodeo will be held this weekend! The action will be held this Friday, July 19th starting at 9am at the Tripp County Rodeo grounds. Over 175 contestants will be in action.

The annual SDRA Rodeo will be held in Geddes this Saturday, July 20th, and on Sunday, July 21st! Performances will start at 7pm both nights. Jesse Larson will be the rodeo clown. Concessions and beverages will be provided on the grounds, so no coolers please.

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their Barbecue Pit Row event, along with the Frontier Motors Car Show on Saturday, July 27th on Main Street in Winner. Cooks will be setup and cooking ribs, pork butt and brisket. You can signup for the event during business hours at the Chamber Office. The Kids Q Contest is back this year too.

There will be a community blood drive in Colome next week. The blood drive will be held on July 16th from 1:30-5:30pm at the Colome American Legion Building. To schedule an appointment, call Vicki Nelson at 842-0270.

The Winner Fire Department will hold their 12th annual poker run today. Registration will start at Noon at the Fire Hall. Food will be served from 5-6pm. Prizes will be awarded at around 6:30pm at the Pheasant Bar.

Activities will be happening for kids to enjoy, and Skatetown will open at 10am. Lunch will be available nearby, or your welcome to bring a sack lunch.
