Frontier Days Rodeo coming up in White River
The 113th annual White River Frontier Days Rodeo will take place July 11th through the 13th. The rodeo will begin at 7pm the nights of July 11th and 12th. Slack on Sunday the 13th will begin at 10am. The rodeo will feature mutton bustin’, ranch broncs and a candy scramble for the kids.
Fireworks display in Platte this Friday
Coming up on the Fourth of July, there will be a fireworks display at the Platte Baseball field, after the Killer Tomatoes battle Corsica/Stickney. The game will start at 7:30pm. The Platte Volunteer Fire Department teamed with the Killer Tomatoes to help shoot off the fireworks.

Chamberlain Recreation holding dodgeball at Avenue of Flags today
Today, Chamberlain Recreation will be having dodgeball take place for kids at the Avenue of Flags beginning at 1pm. There will also be a water fight! If you have any water squirting devices, feel free to bring them with you.
Cedar Shore hosting an event today
The South Dakota CEO East Women’s Business Center will hold a building momentum women in business event today starting at 10:30am at Cedar Shore Resort in Oacoma. There will be several different speakers as they celebrate women making a difference in the community.
