The Lyman Wrestling Program is looking for volunteers to help out at this year’s Mid Dakota Monster Tournament that will happen January 9th and 10th in Presho. If you can help out in any which way, please call Blaine at 280-4813.

Ranching for Profit meetings are coming up in Murdo and Winner. On Thursday, January 8th, there will be a meeting held at the Murdo Sportsman’s Club from 9am to 4pm. On Friday, January 9th, there will be a meeting at the Holiday Inn Express in Winner from 9am to 4pm. Conversations will center around focus on creating profitable businesses with healthy land and happy families, and also evaluating woody encroachment options.

The Bowling Dome in Chamberlain will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Party on Wednesday, December 31st! There will be a wild game feed and fish fry that will start at 5pm. Black light bingo bowling will start at 8pm, and the cost will be $30 per bowler. To reserve your spot, call 234-6802.

The 16th annual Gary Kaiser Memorial Pitch Tournament will happen on Sunday, January 11th at the Winner Country Club beginning at 1pm. There is a $20 entry fee per two person team with 100 percent payback. To register, call 208-1056,

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet and awards night on Monday, January 12th at Saint Mary’s Hall from 6-9pm. Weston Frank will be the special entertainment for the night. There will be raffles and games along with awards being presented too.

The Burke Pink Ladies will hold their annual Dart Tournament on Saturday, January 3rd beginning at 10am at the Burke Civic Center. It will consist of four person teams, and there is a $100 entry fee. The Pix Theater in Winner will be holding over the SpongeBob Movie this weekend! They will show the movie tonight at 7:30, and also show the film at 7:30 next Friday and Saturday Nights at 7:30, a matinee at 4pm, before another showing on Monday, December 29th at 7:30.
