Girls State Basketball Tournaments get going on Thursday

The Girls Class ‘A’ and Class ‘B’ State Basketball Tournaments will tipoff Thursday afternoon in South Dakota. The Class A Tournament will be held in Watertown as top seeded Belle Fourche will battle eight seeded Madison at Noon. Game two will see four seeded West Central take on five seeded Crow Creek at around 1:45. At 6pm, St. Thomas More, the two seed, will take on seven seeded Vermillion followed by three seeded McCook Central/Montrose facing six seeded Aberdeen Roncalli in the nightcap. At the Class ‘B’ State Tournament in Aberdeen Thursday, top seeded Faith will play at noon against eight seeded Tripp-Delmont/Armour. At 1:45 in game two, four seeded Warner will try and knock off five seeded Castlewood. At 6pm, two seeded Hanson will play seven seeded Avon followed by three seeded Sully Buttes battling six seeded Ethan.
