The South Dakota State Women’s Basketball team saw their season end on Saturday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Jackrabbits fell to Utah, 68-54. After falling behind 20-3 after the first quarter, South Dakota State cut the deficit to three at halftime, before Utah pulled away in the second half. Tori Nelson led South Dakota State with 14 points. The Lady Jackrabbits end their season with an overal record of 27 wins and 6 losses.
