Lions, Cowboys and Steelers win on Thursday

DETROIT (AP) – Matt Prater kicked a 40-yard field goal as time expired after Darius Slay returned an interception 13 yards with 30 seconds left, lifting the Detroit Lions to a 16-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings Thursday and into sole possession of first place in the NFC North. The Vikings have lost five of six, plummeting out of first place after surging to the top of the division by winning their first five games.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) – Dak Prescott accounted for two touchdowns, fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliott ran for a pair of scores and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins 31-26 Thursday. The Minnesota Vikings will host the Cowboys on December 1st.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Ben Roethlisberger (RAWTH’-lis-bur-gur) threw for three touchdowns to Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell ran for 120 yards and a TD as the Steelers blew past the Colts 28-7. Roethlisberger and Brown connected for 33-, 25- and 22-yard scores at Indy, who were without concussed quarterback Andrew Luck.
