The Region 3B Wrestling Tournament was held at the Winner Armory on Saturday. Winner Area won the team title as they finished with 224 points. Kimball/White Lake-Platte/Geddes was runner up with 187 points while Burke/Gregory was right behind in third with 186. At 106 lbs, Hadley Tobin of MVP/Corsica-Stickney finished first. Maxton Brozik of Winner Area placed fourth. At 113, Jagger Tyler of Wagner won his championship match over Kyler Konstanz of KWL/PG. Kaleb Osborn of Winner Area was third. At 120, Owen Hansen of Burke/Gregory won his championship match over Lance Soukup of Wagner. At 126, Winner Area’s Kaden Keiser defeated Isaac Crownover of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon for the championship. At 132, Wyatt Talbott of KWL/PG beat Bradyn Lhotak of Wagner for the championship. Aaron Gilchrist of Winner Area was fourth. At 138, Riley Orel of Winner Area beat Keegan Haider of Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington for the championship. At 145, Burke/Gregory’s Jackson Eklund defeated Iver Paul of Sunshine Bible in the championship match. Jack Kruger of Winner Area placed third.  At 152, Trevor Peters of Winner Area beat Frank Even of Burke/Gregory in the championship match. At 160, Sam Kruger of Winner Area won his championship match over Spencer Hanson of KWL/PG. At 170, Hunter Pranger of MVP-Corsica/Stickney beat Finn Hanson of Burke/Gregory for the championship. Joey Cole for Winner Area finished fifth. At 182, Josh Crownover of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon beat Thomas Baker of MVP-Corsica/Stickney for the championship. Owen Duffy for Winner Area was sixth. At 195, Jordan Gall of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon beat Taron Serr of Burke/Gregory in the championship match. Charley Pravecek of Winner Area was third. At 220, KJ St. Pierre of Wagner beat Quinten Christensen of Springs in the championship match. Preston Norrid of Winner Area was third. At 285, Achilles Willuweit of Winner Area beat Rhoss Oliver of Burke/Gregory for the heavyweight championship.
