Day two of the Class ‘B’ State Amateur Baseball Tournament was held on Thursday at Cadwell Park in Mitchell. In game one, the Parkston Mudcats beat the Vermillion Grey Sox, 5-0. Game two went to Redfield as they defeated Armour, 7-2. In game three, Dell Rapids PBR got past Larchwood, 4-2. Game four was won by Garretson as they edged Irene, 3-2.
