Boys Golf

Trysten Eide of MVP was the medalist Thursday at the Plankinton Invite as he shot a 75. London Houska of Chamberlain was runner up with a 76, while Chase McQuirk of Chamberlain was third with a 79. Winner Area’s top golfer was Brody Calhoon as he shot an 81. MVP won the team title, Chamberlain was second and Winner Area was third.

 

Cross Country

At the Clark Invite, Dylan Gerdes of Madison won the boys race in 17:37. Chamberlain’s Liam Gill placed fifth. Flandreau’s Faith Wiese won the girls race in 18:27:35. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips was runner up in 19:15:33.

Twins shutout the Rangers, 4-0. Bailey Ober allowed just two hits over six innings and struck out five. Byron Buxton hit two home runs in the victory for Minnesota, who close out their season with a road series beginning tonight at Philadelphia.
