At the Cougar Invite in Burke on Thursday, Sawyer Holdeman of Mitchell Christian won the boys race in 18:00:46. Gregory’s Luke Barreto placed seventh. Alli McCord of Kimball/White Lake won the girls race in 20:35:79. Her teammates, Lily Baker and Autumn Baker, finished second and third. Berklee Mills of Platte/Geddes was seventh.

At the Lennox Invite, Gage Beverly of Vermillion won the boys race in 15:57:95. Ellie Maddox of Sioux Falls Christian won the girls race in 17:05:02. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips placed fifth.
