At the McCook Central/Montrose Invite Tuesday in Salem, Faith Wiese of Flandreau won the girls race in 18:21:04. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips placed third, while her teammate Ava Schindler was fifth and Kylah Biggins of Chamberlain was eighth. Dylan Gerdes of Madison won the boys race in a time of 17:06:85. Taiton Pease of Chamberlain was sixth.
At the Gregory Invite on Tuesday, Luke Barreto of Gregory won the boys race in a time of 18:14:78. Elijah Haukaas of White River was runner up.
