Yesterday Results:

At the Western Great Plains Conference Meet for Cross Country.

On the girls side Jolie Dugan of Jones Co was the top runner overall. Mallory Valburg came in 10th place. As a team Jones Co. came in 3rd.

On the boy side Brad Lebeda of Lyman came in 3rd. Tyson Iyotte of White River came in 4th place. Caden Whipple of White River came in 8th place. Lyman Runner Bryce Muirhead came in 9th place. Wyatt Olson was Jones Co. top runner coming in 12th place. As a team White River came in 2nd place and Lyman came in 4th place.

The Minnesota Twins are AL Central Champions for the first time since 2010 after they defeated the Tigers 5-1 and the Indians fell to the White Sox. Twins now clinch their first playoff appearance since 2017 as well.

Gregory Lanes now has a Wednesday night individual bowling league at 7:30 PM. No team is needed and you’re not obligated to show up every week. Plus first night is free. Week six of high school football is live on KWYR on Friday. On Country 1260 Scott Schramm will have Winner taking on Mt. Vernon Plankinton and then on 93.7 FM. Ryan Strodtbeck will have Burke at TDA AC/DC. Both games have a pregame at 6:30 and a kickoff at 7 PM.

Nebraska Football can be heard on Country 1260 on Saturday pregame will be at 5:45 PM with kickoff at 6:30 PM. Cornhusker football can be heard all season long on Country 1260.
