Elections took place yesterday.  Here are your results.

Unofficial results for the City of Winner Election.  For Mayor – Jody Brozik receives 296 votes, Mitch Miller receives 288 votes and Jess Keesis receives 175 votes.  There will be a runoff election on Tuesday, November 24th.  For City Council member in Ward 2 – Luke Littau receives 198 votes and Val Sherman receives 96 votes.

For Council member in Platte for Ward 1 Jacob Richard Johnson wins this race with 106 votes and David R. Carter received 62 votes.

In the Legislative races in District 21 for State Senator Mykala Voita wins this race with 6,190 votes and Dan Andersson received 1,969 votes.  In District 26 for State Senator Rebecca Reimer wins this race with 3,187 votes and Shawn Bordeaux received 2,706 votes.  In District 26A for State Representative Eric Emery wins this race with 1,523 votes and Ron Frederick received 839 votes.  In District 26B for State Representative are Angi Hanzlik wins this race with 2,419 votes and Lewis J. Grassrope received 1,123 votes.

In Lyman County for County Auditor Misti Ramser wins this race with 592 votes and Jessica Manger received 497 votes.

In Mellette County for County Sheriff, Lonnie Schultz wins this race with 295 votes, Thomas Keller received 107 votes and Brandon Watson received 207 votes.  For Register of Deeds Darci Cox receives 294 votes and Haley Gallant receives 293 votes.  There will be a possible recount in this election.  For District 2 County Commissioner are Katherine E. O’Brien received 68 votes, Kirby Krogman received 67 votes, Cecil Brandis Jr. received 31 votes and, Joe Bechtold received 33 votes. This race will have a possible recount.

In Todd County for District 1 County Commissioner Thomas S. Carr wins this seat with 160 votes, Dean Stiefel received 26 votes, Marshal R. Tinant received 52 votes, Kyra Willcuts received 57 votes and Daniel Gudgel received 141 votes.  For District 5 County Commissioner Patsy Valandra wins this race with 170 votes and Craig Lafferty received 101 votes.
