The Great Plains Senior Golf Tournament was held Tuesday at the Burke Golf Course. The Jorgensen/Miller team from Mitchell was victorious in the championship flight as they shot a 69. The Halsne/Waterbury team of Burke won the first flight shooting a 74.

The Clearfield and Valentine Rookies game ended in a 0-0 tie

Tripp County Commissioner District 3 recount

A vote recount took place this morning in the election race between Steve Novotny and incumbent Mike Novotny for Tripp County District 3 commissioner.
Mike Novotny received 157 votes and Steve Novotny received 156 votes.
Incumbent Mike Novotny will retain his seat.
There was not a missing ballot. One of the ballots was missing the proper stamp and was not counted.
